Sign up for local programs in the Midcoast Maine area and join other awesome people interested in spending mindful time in nature, and in community. Our programs are designed to build connections between people, and so we don’t accept “drop-ins”. Each program has a series of dates (usually weekly or monthly) which are included in the program fee. It’s ok if you can’t come to all of them, but we hope you’ll be able to make it to most!
We also offer virtual programs - “Happy at Home” retreats and Strategy Sessions, if you aren’t in the midcoast but would like to explore the Happier Outside way! You can find descriptions of those programs here.
Women’s Wellness Walks - 2 hours, Saturday Mornings.
Join other local women for medium-impact walks and hikes in a mix of environments in the MidCoast Maine area. Meet and hear from local wellness practitioners on women's health, fitness and wellness topics. Practice mindfulness. Take time to reflect on the beauty of nature.
This program lasts for 2 hours - we typically walk between 2-4 miles at a medium pace on trails with some elevation, and sometimes on quiet local roads.

MINDFULNESS IN NATURE - 1 hour, SUNDAY mornings.
Guided mindfulness practice in the outdoors, in practice with others. Whether you are an experienced meditator or new to the practice, this weekly gathering will provide you with a structure in which to practice mindfulness in nature with a small group of people. We sit, stand and walk in beautiful places around the Midcoast Maine area and have weekly themes to meditate upon.
This program lasts for one hour.

JOIN US FOR A RETREAT IN MIDCOAST MAINE
for a full day or a full weekend.
Join us to be active, mindful, and intentional. We’ll spend the time together at a gorgeous location in Midcoast Maine (location varies by season) and offer activities for rejuvenation, connection, and intention setting. You’ll have time to connect with both yourself and other folks while you’re with us. This is not a silent retreat.
HIKING
We will head outside for a walk to get our blood moving, our limbs stretched out and exercised, and our spirits connected to nature. Be sure to bring footwear appropriate for the day!
MINDFULNESS MEDITATIONS
Opportunities to practice mindful meditation will be offered. Beginners and experienced mindful folks are welcome to participate in these guided activities, and no prior experience is necessary. Some of the time will be spent sitting, and some will include mindful movement.
ARTS AND CRAFTS SESSIONS
Tapping into our creativity is a wonderful way to connect with our truest intentions. We’ll get our creative juices flowing with art and craft projects.
GATHERING WITH OTHERS, and personal time
We will have opportunities for personal reflection, for “me” time, as well as facilitated discussion and themed activities.
MEALS INCLUDED
Snacks, lunch (and dinner on the overnight retreat) are all included. Let us know your food needs and we’ll make sure you’ve got delicious options available!
