Join us for a hike up to Maidens Cliff (the easier way!), from the Youngtown Inn, up Maiden Cliff rd and to the summit through some blueberry fields on the eastern side of Mt Megunticook. This is a (roughly) 3 mile walk and hike, with some elevation and wonderful views across Megunticook Lake.
Meet at the Youngtown Inn parking lot, at the Camden end of Youngtown rd, Lincolnville.
Kate Killoran, M.D. Gynecology, Women's Health and Wellness at Midcoast Medicine and Wellness (and fellow founder of WWW!) will provide a brief talk on a topical wellness topic. We will walk up the trail, through the fields and to the Maiden Cliff viewpoint. Mish Sommers, Founder of Happier Outside, will facilitate a moment of reflection en-route. Please come prepared - wear good solid walking/hiking footwear and bring a windbreaker/ wear layers if it's windy. Ticks are likely to be bad at this location, so wear long pants that can tuck into your socks. Bring a water bottle, and be ready to walk and talk! This hike is not as steep or challenging as the Maidens' Cliff access from Route 52 but is still a good hike.
